Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for working with Alphabet (Pvt) Ltd (“Alphabet”, “we”, “us”). This Return & Refund Policy explains when payments made on alphabet.lk and our product sites (including RetailOS, PeopleOS, and PrayerOS) may be refunded. Online card and other electronic payments are processed by PayHere.

What we sell

Alphabet provides software products and professional services, not physical goods. Typical charges include SaaS subscriptions, setup and cloud fees, yearly support, and fees for custom software projects.

Returns

Alphabet sells software and professional services, not physical goods, so there is nothing to ship back. If you are not satisfied, contact us as below. We will cancel unused access or unused work where this policy allows, and process a refund to your original PayHere payment method.

Refunds

• Duplicate or unsuccessful charges. If PayHere or your bank confirms a duplicate or failed payment, we will refund the extra amount in full.
• Service not started. If you cancel in writing before we have started work or provisioned your tenant, we will refund the payment less any PayHere or bank processing fee that cannot be recovered.
• SaaS subscriptions. Monthly or yearly software fees already used (including the current billing period after the tenant is live) are not refundable. Unused prepaid periods may be refunded at our discretion if you write to us within 7 days of payment and the service has not been used.
• Setup, cloud, and onboarding fees. Once we have created your environment, domain, or started onboarding, these fees are not refundable.
• Custom software projects. Milestone payments (including typical 40 / 40 / 20 terms) are not refundable after that milestone’s work has started. If a project is cancelled before a milestone begins, that unused milestone may be refunded.

How to request a refund

Email hello@alphabet.lk within 7 days of the payment, with your name, invoice or PayHere reference, amount, and reason. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original PayHere payment method. Banks and card networks may take additional time to show the credit. Shipping does not apply — we do not ship physical products.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first so we can resolve the issue. Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of your account or tenant.
