Welcome to Alphabet (Pvt) Ltd (“Alphabet”, “we”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of alphabet.lk and the purchase of our software products and services. By using the site or paying us, you agree to these terms.

Who may use the site

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under Sri Lankan law.
• You are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for activity on your account.
• You must give accurate information when you register, request a quote, or check out.
• You may not use our websites or software for unlawful purposes.

Products and pricing

Alphabet offers SaaS products (including RetailOS and PeopleOS), apps such as PrayerOS, and custom software. Descriptions and prices on our sites or proposals are given in good faith. Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees unless stated otherwise and may change before you pay. Quotes are valid only for the period shown on the quote.

Orders and payments

• Placing an order or paying an invoice is an offer to buy the stated services.
• We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including unavailability, pricing error, or suspected fraud.
• Online payments are processed by PayHere. We do not store your full card details.
• You authorise us (through PayHere) to charge the agreed amount, including applicable taxes.

Delivery of services

Software is delivered electronically — typically a hosted tenant URL, credentials, and documentation. There is no physical shipment. Setup and go-live dates in a proposal are estimates and depend on information and access you provide.

Returns and refunds

Digital services are not “returned” like physical goods. Refunds follow our Return & Refund Policy.

Intellectual property

Content on this website and our products — including software, text, logos, and graphics — belongs to Alphabet (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors. You receive a licence to use the product you paid for, not ownership of our source code unless a written contract says otherwise. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer our software without our written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Sri Lankan law, Alphabet (Pvt) Ltd, its directors, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or our software. Our total liability for a paid service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the 3 months before the claim. We do not warrant that software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Courts in Kandy have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed contract between us says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
