Alphabet (Pvt) Ltd (“Alphabet”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors, customers, and partners. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use alphabet.lk, our product sites, and related apps. By using our websites or paying us online, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Identity and contact data you give us — name, company, email, phone, and address — when you register, request a quote, or become a tenant or partner.
• Billing data needed to invoice you. Card and wallet details are collected and processed by PayHere. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Account and usage data for software we host for you (for example tenant URL, plan, support tickets, and service logs).
• Technical data such as IP address, browser, and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

• To provide, bill, and support our software and custom projects.
• To process payments through PayHere and issue invoices or refunds.
• To send service messages (activation, invoices, security notices).
• To improve our websites and products and to prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting duties in Sri Lanka.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

• PayHere and its partner banks, to process your payment.
• Hosting, SMS, email, and similar providers who process data on our instructions.
• Authorities when required by law or a valid legal request.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your own account passwords confidential.

Cookies

We use cookies for essential site functions, login sessions, and basic analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may then stop working.

Retention

We keep customer and billing records for as long as the account is active and as required for tax and legal purposes in Sri Lanka. You may ask us to update or delete personal data that we no longer need to keep.

Your choices

Email hello@alphabet.lk to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention rules. PrayerOS app users can also follow data deletion.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of our sites after an update means you accept the revised policy.
